Gratitude journals and raising that vibration
Yet again, another morning dawns with news of another murder by young gangs – this time in Norwich, given more prominence (I suspect) by virtue that the gentle, departed soul was a Chief Operating Officer at Barclays Wealth.
Yahoo! News said that “A murder hunt has been launched after a banking executive was killed when he intervened in a street fight … attempted to break up a brawl in Norwich city centre at 3am on Sunday (after enjoying) a “quiet evening out” … as he visited the city to attend a family christening. He died from head injuries in Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge a day later.”
On a forum which I am moderator of, one of our lovely members wondered “where will it all end”?
My response was quite off-the-cuff … from my perspective:
Society is too namby-pamby, parents have forgotten its THEIR responsibility to look after their own children … not the responsibility of schools or the government! Too much of a blame culture, people need to start thinking and living in reality else it will get much, much worse. We also need to seriously sort out our diets. Stop the crap food, stop the leaking of vital, essential nutrients and minerals from our diet. Try to reduce the stress and the toxin levels.
That’s why I think it is so darned important that we all keep our own individual gratitude diaries … we forget just how much loveliness surrounds us, how many beautiful and wondrous things happen to us throughout the course of the day … instead we get bogged down by this horrid stuff which is so eagerly reported by the media. I think its time I started to stock Gratitude Journals, for all my tired, stressed-out clients to record all the good stuff – no, the GREAT stuff – that happens to us each and every day!
Keep those vibrations up, beautiful people!
